Communication

I know that meeting in the lab can be an issue a lot of the time.  For me it takes a couple hours out of my day just to get to school and back, so I think it would be a good idea to have an alternative.
My Dad has a teleconference once a week because he has to keep up with people in the mainland.  Can we use Skype or some sort of chatroom as a means of communication?  I'm not too familiar with things like that, so can you make some suggestions?  It would be a lot easier than having to always go to the lab.
I do have a hotmail account, which has live messenger, but since it's Windows, I don't know if Cade will be able to use it?

There's also email for those who can't necessarily meet for a live chat every time.

I just remembered that deviantART has a chatroom and that you can create your own!
I can create one if you want, and then as long as you have an account (which are free), you can participate.  I've never used it before, but it should be easy to learn.
